The sun sets and the village lights up. Natural light slowly recedes as windows and streetlights begin to reveal another Atrani.
In this photograph I'm interested in the dialogue between stone, sea and sky. The cool tones of evening contrast with the warm lights of the buildings. It is a brief transition: you have to observe, wait and choose when to take the photograph.
Photographing change
Before setting up the camera, I look for a composition that brings together the shapes of the village and the open space of the sea. Then I follow the light. Technique helps preserve that balance without losing the atmosphere of the moment.
